" Being able to work with the Amarillo Spartans growing up was a blessing in disguise for me. Coach Lloyd and Coach Everhart took me out to the Greater South West Classic to compete with the best high school athletes in the United States. Little did I know, the University of Kansas coaches were at the meet recruiting. I was lucky enough to run well and get the attention of the coaches. With the help of the Amarillo Spartans I was able to get the attention of college coaches and live out my dreams of running in college and now running professionally. GO SPARTANS!!"
